Showing up for work because I’m tired of getting called in on my days off. Company needs to hire more people
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We need more workers, better updated equipment such as cash registers. Better customer service and better managers. All my managers are always taking vacations. I never get any vacation.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Better check out process, updated equipment, better customer service, more organized, and stop creating more programs that is cashiers have to remember. It makes the checkout process even longer and customers don’t want anything.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
More pay. I was promised 9 dollars in the interview. I’ve been working for 2 years now and I’ve started at $8 and only got a 50 cent raise. Plus I have no benefits at all. No healthcare or life insurance. Make your company better by giving your hard working long term employees better care.
