It was okay at first, but has gone significantly downhill. So much is expected of an understaffed company. Then they wonder why employees are depressed

I was not uncomfortable and it was pretty laid back.

Some managers will actually respect you and treat you like family (usually not though)
What are some of the best things about your team?
Coworkers being there for you emotionally when management is bad. People willing to teach you how to do things
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Paid less after working there for 2 years, while new people are paid more than me. Treated like I am disposable and do not matter
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Management likes to treat workers like garbage and like we do not matter. Tend to sit back and watch the chaos then wonder what is going wrong. If we had more help, the store and environment would improve much more.
