Leave petty opinions and gossip aside

manager has special circle of former coworkers. All others sit on the outside, knowing the inside group is barely going to work and not pulling their share, but favored none the less

Focus on outcomes to drive performance.

They need to be first of valued and secondly given the necessary tools to do the jobs they're being paid to do.

Too many meetings and nothing gets accomplished as you spend 90% of your day in meetings and then you need to either work late or bring home your work to keep up.
