The leadership at PPL is horrible. Totally ignorant of a utility should run. They are there only for themselves and not the benefit of customers and employees. What's worse they are putting safety and reliability in jeopardy by their poor decisions.

I do not receive benefits, however, the hourly pay makes up for it. There are glitches from time to time within this company, but as an employee I am treated generously.

Below the level of Director there are no stock benefits. They were cut 8 years ago.

I was interviewed during the whole covid crisis so it was relatively easy and quick. At tgat time the interviewing and hiring process was shortened. They were in dire need of employees.

Focus is on letting the experience walk out the door and use mainly a contractor workforce.

Poor leadership obsessed with their own egos and compensation. Totally inexperienced and ineffective as leaders.

The company stopped the progression of it's internal employees and hired contractors instead of promoting it's employees.
