Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

While I have enjoyed not having any horrible or bad bosses or co-workers, I have been underpaid per industry averages the entire time I have worked for Radiance even accounting for the above average retirement contributions.

Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

I've been under-utilized and underpaid most of my time with this company. I have no desire to be a (program) manager or to manage a team on site due to no difference in pay. Thus, this company offers me no real modes for advancement. This is a big reason why people leave once vesting retirement.

We are an employee owned company.

Making a difference for my customers.

Mutual respect, integrity, smart work

Getting new datasets to analyze

What are some of the best things about your team?

Great people that enjoy doing what they do with excellence (not management).

What makes you most happy at work?

Finding something challenging to do, which is becoming rarer and rarer as I have started capping out in what I can learn in this limited role.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Being employee owners means we are supposed to all be invested in working hard every day to do an awesome job for our customers and re-win contracts over and over.

What are some of the best things about your team?

We all want to be here, doing this work, doing the best job we can for our government customers. We enjoy a clear sense of comradery amongst civilians, military, and contractors alike.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Go to the grocery store and buy groceries. Go buy a house. Go buy a car. It is called inflation, folks. By refusing to give us livable yearly raises for the last three years, you show us we are worth less and less each year.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

If annual inflation was 30%, yes, I would expect a 30% yearly raise. Inflation should be clearly accounted for in government proposals, so there is no excuse that yearly raises across the company weren't 7.5% this year. Where did this difference go? The new President bragged about his awesome raise.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Glassdoor & the FY '23 Targeted Local STEM 25% salary increase for Civilians show I am underpaid. Plus, Radiance gets ~20% more than other contractors. My peers & I have yet to see a bonus & raises haven't accounted for inflation despite contract riders. Pay us fair market wages w/ effective raises.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

1. Pay us competitive wages so we don't leave on mass. Stop being jerks to us and taking bonuses while we get poor base rate raises. The contract can support better wages, and the difference will be made up in the under billed contracts due to turnover. 2. Be timely if you are in a QC chain.
