So far my experience has been stellar. There's things to improve and friction points, but that will exist anywhere. I don't see myself leaving the company anytime soon - despite the pay gap.

The 15% salary match is CRAZY

They're nice people and honestly want to help.

Culture. Transparency. Honestly, I have made some true friends here.

This is what I've wanted to do for quite some time.

They aren't cookie cutter corporate figures. They're fun and unique and caring individuals.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I know that my salary is between 15-25k less than what I could make elsewhere.

Honesty and Transparency. I have no qualms reaching out to anyone along the chain of command. They've fostered an incredible culture.

There's a ton of people that are at various ages. Everyone is kind and comfortable with discussion - whether it be personal of professional.
What makes you most happy at work?
I enjoy the freedom of being able to go down the rabbit-hole on what the root of certain problems are to gain a deeper understanding. It's better than applying a band-aid solution for the customer and expands my skills as an engineer.
