It's been a ride. Good and Bad. Seen a lot of changes over the past few years, seen a lot of good, smart people leave to find other opportunities outside Radiance. I feel like am have contributed to help get the company where it is today.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The company likes to do at least 1 company activity once a month
What are some of the best things about your team?
The cohesiveness, the awareness of how important we are to the company, and we feed off each other's input. We are open and have respect for each other.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Understaffed, overworked, priorities changes daily. Lack of respect for my team. Better on-boarding process to provide a deeper understanding on how things work. Provide more interdepartmental specialty training classes.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Most of them have great people skills, but a few do not, however they all seem to be on the same page as far as to where they want the company to go. Roadmap, Planning and Execution are their strong points.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Because of my workload, responsibilities, skills, accountability and my value to the department which I am in. Plus there is a member of the team that makes way more than me and do not provide skills to do perform their job. They were a forced hire, not who was desired during the interview process.
