Seeing my direct reports happy and seeing my teams succeed at a high rate of speed.

Blame is not placed on anyone but rather we look to fix the process and improve it.

I can go to literally anyone and ask for assistance without fear of them thinking less of me.

We address issues as a team, and that makes a huge difference compared to other places I've worked.

Being able to sell back unused PTO really helps with the bills as I have multiple kids in college.

I've not met a single person on any team that has not taken time out of their day to help me.

If I'm able to help a coworker, mentee or one of my direct reports, then my day is more fantastic than average.

My leadership team has taken the time to hear me out and provide feedback and inside into career growth and challenges I've had.

We support each other, don't always talk shop, and seem to honestly care about helping one another complete our work as a team.

We're constantly seeking to improve as a team. If we're not doing something right, we're okay with taking constructive criticism and trying again.

They share and explain information with us, good or bad. I'm also very aware they are seeking to make sure we all have coverage.

My leadership team provides mentorship, room and grace to learn from errors, and top-cover to allow us to implement our plans and spread our wings.

Our leadership team is transparent. They frequently share their plans for the company with the entire employee base, and we, the employees, are able to provide feedback and direction.

My leadership team takes the time to listen to our concerns and genuinely tries to address them. The frequent all hands and town halls are great at keeping us up to date.
What makes you most happy at work?
Seeing other teams incorporate my ideas whether they know they're my ideas or not. Just knowing that they love my ways of working and that it makes them more successful makes me smile.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
One answer, two parts: PTO. We're allowed to build up some comp time which helps to save our PTO. And, by far the best, at the end of the year, we can sell back some leave which helps with Christmas.

Selling back leave is the best benefit. I've been able to pay down some of my debts in this way. I'm going to try doing it again one more year. I haven't been able to dig my way out until now.
