Has been nothing but a managerial shit show. Miss run, miss managed, shady contract deelings of working one thing but charging another. The list goes on. I have been frustrated pretty much from the onset at the lack of growth and company operations. Even the work doesn't excite me anymore.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Dependable, reliable, intelligent, and high moral ethics.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I have nothing positive to say. This last year has been nothing but depression and anxiety ridden. This is fueled by overall corporate toxicity.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Taking care of current employees. Current employees are undercompensated to market value while new, less qualified personal are paid far greater. Overall, Radiance pays less than market value and is lacking in several benefit areas.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Provide adequate and sufficient leave, stop rewarding mangers and new employees with compensation they haven't earned over the current staff, paying better wages, offering better health benefits (wife's gyno visit wasn't covered by an in network doctor!), actually valuing employees.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Well current market for my experience, education, and position is in the upper 100ks and I am being barely paid in the low 100ks. Raidance needs to do better market research. We have a terrible bonus structure that awards the managers and not the technical staff. Lastly, no paternal leave.
