I have worked extreme hours on a project to be derided openly by the customer in front of management with no support. I have expressed dissatisfaction at the career opportunities provided me and was told by my manager they did not need me and I would be replaced if I left.

I hired into a specific technical position, but was moved to an unrelated effort. I have not received adequate support from my management chain to rectify my role back into what I desire to do technically. The compensation I receive is very fair and competitive, but career growth support is lacking

They have certainly lead the company to much financial success, which has enabled the ability provide exceptional employee benefits.

Ability to use PTO as desired, PTO rollover/accumulation, and paying back unused PTO at the start of the year

Every person is invested in the success of the project, since every person is an owner of the company.

Accomplishing meaningful work that benefits the men and women of the armed forces, and those on the front lines of conflict.

The health insurance package is the best I have ever had. The retirement contributions are, of course, also very nice.

Medical premiums and deductibles are extremely competitive. Compensatory time system is suitable Payback of carryover PTO above 160 hours is also very nice

They treat every decision with the knowledge that every employer is an owner of the company and that each decision has broader impact beyond the bottom line
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
All employees need to be held accountable for contributing to the projects they work. Leadership should provide actionable follow-ups to complaints so employees know their concerns are being heard.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
The culture fosters incompetence. There is significant lack of motivation to perform even the bare minimum of duties. Management enforces no repercussions on those that routinely and willfully under perform.
What are some of the best things about your team?
There is a common desire to produce a good end product for the customer, and there is mutual desire for everyone to succeed and find growth and satisfaction with their work.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Holding personnel accountable for poor performance and failure to contribute to projects they directly support. Failure to provide sufficient backing with respect to properly staffing efforts with competent technical personnel. Failure to hear and act on objective deficiencies in project leadership
