I used to love coming to work, but lately, I feel like Red Lobster is literally robbing servers... we are not provided gratuity but are required to tip out large amounts each day, even though we get tipped well below what we really should be. paying 25-50 dollars to work each day us unreasonable
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We get stiffed a lot as servers here. We do all this upselling etc to run up 70-200 dollar tabs just to make 5 dollars here and 10 bucks there... its unfair and we are expected to tip out based on sales, when we arent nearly even making the correct amount of tips based on our sales....
