I love RFPIO's culture of appreciation. We give each other shout outs for a job well done, and nobody balks at lending a helping hand.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our VP of Marketing is very driven and gives us a clear vision. Our Creative Director is both talented and also fair in giving out criticisms/compliments.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is supportive and collaborative. We're all working together toward a common goal. I don't feel like people are trying to sabotage each other to get ahead.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I absolutely love the people I work with. We all check in on each other and make sure we're doing okay, and encourage each other to take breaks.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is committed to putting employees first. I think they treat their employees like real people and place great value on the skills we are bringing the to table. Also, they are receptive to feedback.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They need to give better compensation and better benefits. They need to be more clear about expectations. They need to stop changing priorities halfway through. They need to be more realistic about bandwidth and set deadlines that are reasonable.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I make 20K less than what my friends make in similar positions to me at different companies. I know that RFPIO strives to be average in terms of compensation, but if we want to be a good place to work, we need to strive for outstanding.
