SAP, like any large company, has alot of politics. But it is quite noticeable within the sales team. Favoritism is rife and there is very little career progression based on success, it is more based on closeness to the right people.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Less focus on just sales, and more towards building a better more sustainable relationship with customers.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Internal politics needs resolving, and each employee profile needs to have a clear progression path otherwise it's left to local managers who base it on who they're personally closest too.
