What makes you most happy at work?

I learn something new every day and get to collaborate with an incredibly diverse range of people with amazing life and work experience, and to benefit from the collective knowledge. I've changed careers here three times without leaving. It's awesome.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They truly support informed risk-taking; they take ideas from anyone, at any level in the organization; and they also take feedback from all levels of the organization and reward managers for acting on it. They take work-life balance concerns seriously, and it's one of their KPIs.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

You start w/3 wks paid leave, and can progress to 5 wks if you stay. That's separate from sick leave. When my dad passed away, I had 5 paid days - not vacation days, that let me be with her and my family and to grieve. They're very humanistic.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

For a decade our mission is "Help the world run better and improve people's lives". People here take pride in doing work that serves a greater purpose. Volunteerism is ingrained in the culture & backed w/a generous CSR program. D&I is taken seriously. Our customers live in 180 countries!

What are some of the best things about your team?

Every single person I work with, peers and managers, says "Family first" when something comes up that affects your work-life. To say we're like family is cliche, but true - and astonishing b/c we're not a startup we're a 100k person business. Wherever I travel in the world, I have friends!

What did you like most about the interview process?

The people I spoke to really wanted to understand why I wanted the job, not just if I could do it. Desire, passion, and interest were important to them - not just skills. I think that's part of the success of the company. You can learn hard skills - but you can't teach passion.
