Better benefits at cheaper prices. More incentives to work. Better training or paid training other than tuition for like therapy and nursing.

Caring about the residents families and staff

The DON is insensitive/careless about the continuous stressful overworked conditions. (both physical/emotional health status). And is also manupulative, intimidating, and unappreciative of my individual/ Teamwork collaboration

Team work does not exist. Some of the other RCS are just mean and evil to the residents I am scared to go into the rooms with a few of the other worker, in fear of what they may do or say to the residents.

Have the supervisors take some of the work off of us. We are working above state requirments because there isnt enough staff. But we are expected to cover all the openings. 1 to 3 Nurses are needed everyday to fill the openings for August and September! The leadership staff has TOO MANY MEETINGS!

Treat all employees with respect

Positive reinforcement for ALL shifts. Raises due to the price of livivg going up. People are leaving and going to agencies due the the pay difference.

Be more approchable when asking for help

The DON did not have any say of the hiring part of the interview. Only the administrator had the interview and say so of hiring. In other facilities I have worked before the DON had the final decision due to the knowlege of what the work should entail with residents and their conditions.

Full heart! Blessed to have the opportunity to share my time and be involved in the lives of our elderly. It makes me appreciate every day i have on this earth. We can make a difference if we all try!
