Save-A-Lot Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Honestly I don't know if I have one. Because she hired me and then just practically left me to figure things out on my own and that's not how a general manager is supposed to do. She literally is one of the worst managers I've ever seen in my life!!!

Need vacation and time in a half

Paid time off and vacation

Good. New stared. Good. Package

Review from Sales Dept

Yes I would like to do that

Base salary is the best part

Salary is very respectable compared to other companies

I stayed for two years because of my salary. The company pays well but the hours you'll work and the mental break down, was not worth it.

Review from Admin Dept

Health insurance is great and affordable.

Getting Paid weekly not so many job do that

Review from Sales Dept

Review from Sales Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I've been working at Save a Lot for well over a year making the same wage while another employee that was just hired got a raise after working at the same place for 4-6 months and come to find out they just happened to be related to the boss

To tell people what they get paid and how much

An increase in my pay check

I havent been paid my vacation time

No PTO or full time chances, Being given a raise for busting my butt lifitng heavy stuff on a bi daily baisis

Because Kathy says that they give us whatever hours they feel fit to give us and if it's not what we need F us they were to take all of ours and give it to friends so they can have a paycheck and that's unfair. We work less than 19 hours a week we get paid every two weeks. We are grown people with b

Due to the inability to replace past associates, employees are expected to do multiple jobs/roles per 8-10hr shifts.

Im taking on more responsibility like ordering at no additional compensation because our store manager is more focused on what the employees and what their doing wrong, and then shell get mad at them for doing something wrong but wont say what it is or how to fix it

By the time you get hours the accumulated hours that become your vacation or personal hours can never be used because it is based on seniority.

Review from Product Dept

Give me my job back and give me hours

Full time hours without the threat of being written up or termination for calling out of work

To get more and better management

Being paid at the correct time. In the state of NJ you must pay for training. I was not told until the second day at the end of my shift I will not be getting paid for my 12 hours of training in the Penn's bills NJ store.

Because i stock do register and i always get told to stop what im doing to do something else for 9$ an hour

The manager at save a lot on Claiborne stow out my checks and then firer me for no reason

Review from Customer Success Dept

Store employees are treated as highly replaceable. There's absolutely no work/life balance. Corpoate is completely out of touch with their customers and the store staffing.

The pay was very low compared to every other food store / grocery store in the area.

Getting benefits for my work

Pay is not fair for the team that has been here. Outsiders are making more money

Nothing at all i quit
