Very low pay for massive responsibilities. No raises, hardwork go unrecognized, and every year our CEO and executives make more money. Unhealthy work environment.
What did you like most about the interview process?
They seem to be willing to hire anyone.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Extremely high turnover rate. This can be fixed by giving entry-level employees a competitive wage.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They all work tirelessly to help the individuals under our care, despite their very low wages.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The ones that make the most money, seem to be the happiest. The reverse holds true as well.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Pay fair wages, keep CEO and executive wages at a minimum of no more than a set percentage of our lowest paid worker's annual income.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued due to the sheer amount of physical and mental strength it takes to work with violent individuals, compared with our incredibly low wages. Seeing low level executives being paid a quarter of a million dollars when the hardest workers are being paid MINIMUM WAGE, creates issues.
