While SBD has stable and well-established brands, the drive for innovation (both of our customer offerings and internal operations) promises to keep our company in the top slot for Tools and Storage and highly competitive in our other industries.

What are some of the best things about your team?

My team works across corporate, business unit and shared service teams. There is a prevalent attitude of "we" rather than "us" vs. "them" that makes progress toward organizational goals much more likely to acheive. We are highly-skilled and globally-diverse team.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Our leadership is measured and consistent, not given to wild swings in reaction to the news of the day. The level of engagement and transparency helps my team and I understand and buy-in to major decisions. There are regular town hall type sessions that provide personal connection and visibility.
