There are almost no guidances or progresses for my team and no one really knows the right way to do the job. We often also have to come up with the processes which is way over our pay grade and should not happen. This makes the work very stressful and often everyone does their job in a different way

I can't speak for others, but my pay is reasonable.
What's the vibe like in the Marketing dept at Sykes Enterprises? How many hours are you working?
The vibe is energetic and I work about 50 hours a week. Fortunately, I have the option to work from home once in a while, so I tend to not close shop at 5. :)

The Marketing team at SYKES is smart, witty, energetic, and fun to work with, for the most part.
How's the leadership on the Marketing team at Sykes Enterprises?
Executive Leadership is wonderful. Some of the middle management has been with the company to long and have lost their initiative to lead change. Other than the CEO or COO, longevity is not necessarily healthy recipe for moving forward and making changes. I see stagnation in a few of the lower areas.
How does Sykes Enterprises make decisions around promotions?
Within the last few years promotions have most definitely been influenced by office politics and "favorites" - including nepotism. It's not what you know, it's who you know and getting worse
