They rotate their general managers as supposed to firing them when they treat their staff poorly. They simply give them a new store regardless of their "management" treating their fully grown employees like toddlers.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communication. We work in a very high stress field but that doesnt give them the right to speak to us out of frustration for us needing them to help and do their jobs. They are also almost impossible to find when you need them.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Our gas prices are constantly on the rise now in California. And while I make make tips and they refuse to pay me more than minimum wage we are required to tip out a large portion of those numbers every single night. Meanwhile our managers avergae SIX FIGURES. ANd people struggle to get to work.
