Unilever culture changed a lot over the years, keep promoting managers who are not capable to lead and always have short term views. Speed remain slow and always is last implement changes. Unilever is cash rich and can buy company but they cannot sustain growth of the acquired company.

Low as compared to industry standard. But beyond they failed to appreciate the contribution
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Slow in decision making, poor food innovation. Apart from ice cream the savoury foods is boring. They bought plant base company yet slow to roll out and put novice managing it
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Speed of decision making and use competent leader who has backbone and courage to fights for belief and not just follow orders from the top. Unilever need move out food if they can't do it well focus on HPC
