USIC Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I do use the company insurance but I do use retirement programs

Nice bonus and base salary

Bonus, life insurance, and free equipments

Overtime and paid time off.

I don't have any complaint's

I am a manager and am compensated nicely. I also receive bonuses. The average technician in the field is treated and compensated poorly unless they have been with the company for 20+ years.

Review from Operations Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Leadership Inspiring people to work around Also working around people you can trust who don't lie

It a skill position with huge responsibilties. They pay like youre flipping burgers

If we matched what competitors pay and make an adequate adjustment to meet the current inflation

Lower cost benefits, and a bigger anual raise.

I work sun up to sun down and the best they can do is $20 gift card for christmas? We never get any bonuses here. I use to but thats changed the last couple years.

Better and more reasonable pay and more appreciation from upper management and supervisors.

Review from Operations Dept

I just feel like this job was too much of a physical and mental requirment for such small compensation.

Review from Operations Dept

USIC is one of the biggest locating companies if not the biggest but other companies are paying. Our CEO sets on millions of dollars and yet we're told if it was for the Locators. The Locators are making the Salaried the money and more. It's time for a better wage. 20.00/hr.

You are just a number to them completely replaceable. They don't care if you have a family or if your sick, you need to work long hours to get your tickets done plus on call. The turn over rate is so high you'll be forever understaffed

We have more customers than any other utility companies but yet we get paid less

Betrer pay would be nice the premiums we pay for crap insurance is ridicules and with the price going up to live you would think as much money this company brings in they would pay better and not have upper management not to be calling employees for money

A real wage for the work that's put in

For how many years of locating experience I have including damage investigations and audits I do feel that I am under compinsated but we will see what happens in the future

There is no reward or recognition to those in the field who make the money for the company. Only browbeating on what you do wrong and never what an employee does right.

This is an important job, marking utilities. Can make more money far less stress at a fast food restarant.

Get want i deserve and promise

I work 70-80 hours a week and the only way to make good money is to work yourself to death. I’d even call it a

Review from Operations Dept

The pay does not compensate for the complete disregard to work life balance. Pay more or stop working trainees 65 hours a week.

Review from Operations Dept

Less problems with keeping employees, benefits i.e. as pto, better insurance, additional employees to deal with ticket load.

Pay is below what it should be
