What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are always available and do not make you feel intimidated if you step to the plate with an issue
Caring, understanding, helpful, motivating, insightful.
Everyone but the CEO. The CEO comes from tech and doesn't understand retail and has a bad intuition. The other leaders amongst the organization are smart and push hard to succeed.
That we all work together and not micro managed.
my team is very dynamic and collaborators to work in a team, the best quality of my team is the trust placed in each one of us
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Understanding what made Zappos special and a place that was inspiring for the employee and the customer. Now just a cog in the Amazon wheel.
Zappos talks about culture but there is hardly anything that they put in practice. No empathy and support/motivation to employees. I'm glad I left them sooner than my other colleagues

The extensive high quality selection of providers available to choose from for all your medical, eye and dental needs
I love it because just it is so fun
The health benefits at Zappos are some of the best in the industry.
We have the opportunity to move into different roles to be compensated every time we take a new role.
My benefits are consistent with my work experience, I think that my salary is good so far and that I can improve my quality of life by growing within my company
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Stock and clear progression path.
A market correction/comparison of similar roles in they industry
Paid less than peers at Amazon and no stock
What are some of the best things about your team?
The people are what makes Zappos great. Or at least they used to be valued. Now its all about reducing head count and making people fearfull about their jobs.
I have built a solid talent density within my teams. We are looked upon as leaders and we are able to influence the rest of the organization.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Collaborate and have a positive attitude . These things are driven by the manager. Sadly the manager was pathetic
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The teams that I work with have a good balance of respect, friendship and work relationships. We come to work to help drive the growth and success of each other.
It use to be the culture now its just a paycheck
Building relationships with each co-worker from different departments.
The work environment is pleasant and cordial, both coworkers and clients are always in a good mood and the treatment is always the best
It's very laid-back and employee-focused. Our supervisors aren't breathing down our backs.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Leadership should pause and correct their attitude first
Morale is extremely low right now.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was laid back but you have to interview 3 or 4 times.
Had to meet with the team and make sure i was a fit for the culture and not just the job.
My perspective was skewed on this as I had a really great experience but I knew most of the interviewers prior to joining Zappos.
That I was able to be myself .
It was a comfortable, stress-free environment.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
they give three rounds of interviews, and they do group interviews with several people

What makes you most happy at work?
My ability to grow and influence the other groups around me.
knowing that I am in a good environment with friends, we are like a family.
arrive at my work and be greeted with a cordial greeting by my colleagues and know that day by day I am acquiring more knowledge and experience that will help me overcome
Just being around my coworkers and knowing that we're getting something done.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Not sure about this asi didn't spend lot of time here
We fell off of the great places to work survey a few years back for good reason, and things have only continued to go downhill since then.
What do you like best about your company?
The environment and community work that we do. I work part time also.
