I would briefly describe my overall experience at this company as "enjoyable but become less interesting".

Its an enjoyable job, but without any opportunities to advance which gives it a very "terminal" feeling.

Most coworkers are competent, friendly, and have integrity.

Seeing coworkers is the main benefit.

Pay raises have only kept up with CPI inflation rate.

Pay has not kept up with cost of living increases / inflation.

I appreciate that the leadership team solicits feedback on their performance (eg: this survey)

Most of my team is highly competent and dependable, however recently the hiring standards seem to be declining.

Better career progression options (not limited to simply becoming a manager, and/or not be locked within the same program).

What makes me most happy at work is generally the people I directly work with and the customer to whom our service helps.

I'm kind of indifferent (and which leadership? My direct lead, the higher managers, the VPs and above). Not sure how to answer this.

Getting to see coworkers (including those of other companies). Most of the drama and stress seems to come from the prime contractor's nonsensical decisions.

Nothing new, no longer any path of advancement. The only path that I could imagine would be management or admin work, which doesn't very uplifting.

I think a good job was done in hiring people with experience and who have good personalities. It is such a relief to work with a team of capable people.

First, I appreciate that this survey is being sent out -- and the senior leadership is soliciting feedback regarding themselves. I also like that their communication is always positive, no passive aggressive threats, etc... Generally they seem personable.

I like that we are relatively small but I feel that as we grow we'll inevitably begin to behave like a "big company" and eventually the company will be sold to an even larger company, ending any positive aspects of the culture.

I love that my coworkers (and also my current and past PMs up to my VP (which is the highest person I've interacted with) are very personable and easy to speak to. I also greatly appreciate that my coworkers are competent and motivated.

I plotted my 'real' (inflation-adjusted) pay over the last decade, and I'm making less than I was when I started. Originally I came to this company knowing that I would have reduced pay, but the benefits would have been better. Once here, the benefits were slowly reduced - schedule, travel perks..

Adjusted for inflation, I make far less (high 5-figures) than when I started in this industry. In a past email it was mentioned that employees shouldn't compare pay to inflation -- but if everything is more expensive and the absolute value is nearly the same, I'm getting less effect from ea wk hr.
