I really enjoy working for Aevex. As the company is growing, we are starting to reduce the single points of failure that we have been growing through. There were plenty of the older generation that hold on to the tribal knowledge and are set in their way of doing things, but that is going away.

I am happy with the team and our mission on the shop floor. I wish we had better procedures and shop instructions that would streamline the workflow. The work here is great but compared to other shops this one is sloppy. The gate keepers need to let up so we can get this place where it should be.

Our leadership team shows good initiative in engagement with the workforce. This sometimes helps to grease the wheels and open the door for the more difficult conversations.

The comradery on the shop floor is great. But some of the original ikhana employees have a bad attitude towards accepting change which gives us mixed emotions.

Communication and team building. Shop employees all get along well and so do the shop managers. Its the office managers that cause the low retention rate.

I really enjoy what I do and working on aircraft daily. I enjoy seeing the new projects roll in and it is a satisfying experience to watch our hard work be successful.

We all try to minimize drama and try to come together as a team. I have yet to have a day where I dread coming to work due to any of the staff.

Training should be mandatory for management. also, building up the team instead of hiring outside. We should be getting trained more instead of having to got out and pay for courses and wait to be reimbursed.

There are a lot of experienced and disciplined employees on my team that I can count to complete most any given task. Also, most all are open to putting in the long hours and overtime when necessary.

Our resumes seem to be overlooked and the leadership does not capitalize on our strong points. This leads lower employee retention. There are also no set procedures or guidelines that we can reference when we have questions, and it is more subject to manager opinion.
