One's experience is heavily impacted by which team you're on. Some are toxic, others are supportive. I've experienced both types. Overall, this is a good place to work, and I'm constantly in awe of how many highly intelligent people there are at this company.

6 free therapy sessions per year, and 6 free coaching sessions per year. Copays for Chiropractors and Acupuncture are low!

There are plenty of forums to provide feedback to leadership. This is a feedback company, and Medallia has a history of acting upon feedback, including providing quarterly Mental Health Days!!

Getting quarterly bonuses, work-life balance, having a great manager who cares about the team carrying out the work. Having streamlined internal processes makes all the difference. Not every group at Medallia is as streamlined.

I really wish Medallia would provide gym benefits/stipend. I also think companies should reevaluate how they provide pay increases, a nominal percentage every year doesn't account for changes in job responsibilities, and there should be a better way to track that and tie it to pay.

Being remote is the happiest part for me. However, "happy at work" is a stretch, given I don't believe in 40-hr work weeks at this point in our technologically advanced society, AND not being paid for working over 40 hrs a week as a salaried employee :)

My team is in a client-facing role, however we're equally focused on improving internal processes in order to streamline our day-to-day. My team also focuses on team building and always respecting one another, and giving the assumption of positive intent if there is a misunderstanding.

My team is supportive of one another. Last year, I had a major health event where I missed a week of work during a busy time, and everyone was more concerned about my well-being than anything else, and they took care of everything for me while I was out.

With the recent CEO and leadership changes (he brought in his own team, as expected and typical), I appreciate the CEO's candor when speaking with us in Town Halls. He also has an "Ask Joe" forum where a summary of questions and his answers are emailed weekly. Haven't seen the rest of his team tho.

Most of the leadership in my area started at the bottom and worked their way up. So they know what it's like to work with clients, how to follow our methodology, and provide advice. They also gave us quarterly mental health days based on an internal employee survey. So they do listen to feedback.
