Elsevier: I recommend working here to all of my friends, or anyone I meet who would be interested and good at the work we do. Elsevier is a great company to work for, with excellent work-life balance that is a priority for the CEO to maintain. We are also traveling less, giving us more lifestyle flexibility.

HSN: HSN has a huge variety of products, just about anything you could possibly think of or need. Even thimgs you didn't think you wanted. The Customer Service at HSN is what realy puts them at the top of my go to online shopping needs. Not necessarily your everyday basic necessities but everything else.

Elsevier: I was originally hired on in a temporary contract position while I returned to school. It was not my original intention to stay at Elsevier. However, I absolutely fell in love with the people and the culture. Here I still am (three years and two promotions later), and I still love it!

My first shift was from 4am-12ish. Yesterday was 3:30am-2pm. This upcoming Halloween week we have to have essentially 24hr shifts. I might quit.

Corporate policy seems to be to chase away experienced clinicians and replace with new grads--many whomare not boarded but are still called specialists.

HSN: HSN has some of the best customer service reps Ive had to deal with. The prices on HSN are very reasonable/ competitive compared to other online retailers and even brick & mortar stores. I appreciate HSN & Ive been shopping with them for pver 20+ yrs.

Deckers Brands: I'd say it is a very good company overal but it does protect minority employees or women as much as they claim they do. There is lots of lip service and internal PR , and some good done to promote the idea of DEI, but when it comes to facts reality does not match optics. They thave a long way to go.
MITRE: They need to step aside. The company needs to put solid engineering (not social engineering) and national defense at the top of its priorities.

UKG: Company has recently laid of staff when our formee leadership had a rule/principle against laying off staff. Seems like a lot of people are starting to look elsewhere either internally for a hiring position or externally.
AMD: No life work balance. Long hours 50-60 hours per week. Lake calls all the time. Working weekends constantly.
Pegasystems: It's been okey over the padt few years.
HSN: Their customer service reps are second to none. They will help you resolve an issue/problem whether big or small. Just to ask a question about a product they wven tale the tome to do that, yes its their job but a lot of customer service reps can be downright rude. Ive never encountered that.
Nutanix: Been great so far, very supportive environment, great people to wirk with

CBC: More balanced coverage....always a 'progessive' / liberal bias, but over-time has become even more so.
Octapharma Plasma: Octaphatma updated their pay scale to be morr competitive however they have become short staffed, ave donation time has more than doubled yet they haven't made adjustments to retain staff or current clients. Focus seems to only be on new clients. Sadly my fellow clients & I are switching companies.
Arby's Restaurant: Thus far it is an excellent place to work.
