I have met and overcome several extreme challenges and some people have acknowledged my efforts, but to others I'm "just another resource" despite having proven my mettle. My role changes constantly and I feel like I'm put on the spot a lot more lately with no warning or ability to prepare.

We haven't replaced resources on my team and we're running out of experienced folks creating a staffing problem. We should have been hiring earlier to try and ramp people up to replace experienced resources ages ago.
