As far as people and company culture, AEVEX is the best place I ever worked. As far as compensation, its been very hard. A lot of it is inflation and cost of living increases, but I went years without any meaningful raise and I was told repeatedly I am doing a great job at work. Its been hard.

I've been with AEVEX and love the culture and the people and the work is challenging and I've learned a lot even after 18 years of being in the same industry. I had issues with lack of merit / cost of living increases for basically 4 years in a row but my new supervisor really corrected that.

People are friendly and genuine I feel like

Everyone is so friendly, competent, and there are zero office politics.

Feeling appreciated somewhat. I haven't truly felt that at AEVEX very often.

Everybody is really friendly and there are no office politics that I can see.

Feeling appreciated, valued, part of a team. I feel none of that especially the last year or so.

The company's growth has been amazing since I joined in 2019. Its exciting to be a part of that!

PTO is generous and AEVEX pays 100% insurance premium for employee which makes a difference when getting other job offers from other companies.

No office politics, gossip, toxic micromanagement or supervisors, etc. Its the best work environment I've worked in in the 3 companies I worked at in my 18 year career so far.

Feeling like I am part of a team and not inferior or less than anyone. That we are all treated equally with respect and kindness and camaraderie, which I feel is very good at AEVEX.

Everyone is so kind and friendly, no matter what position. Even higher ups stop by and say hello and ask how I am doing. Its great to have such a great set of people to work with.

We have a good manager who is easy to talk to and brings humor and levity and treats us all equally as far as being people. My coworkers are also very smart and competent and we all get along.

Like mentioned, in nearly 4 years I've been here I've gotten a $1.99 cost rate increase. This is far lower than almost anyone else in the company. It implies that not only am I a terrible employee, but potentially the worst in the whole company. Its degrading and demoralizing.

In the 4 years I have been here, I have had exactly a $2/hr pay rate increase. This is far far less than almost everybody else in the company. I may not be the most amazing employee ever, but there is no way am I the worst either. Its demeaning and demoralizing.

I joined in 2019, and until 2023, I got a grand total of $1.99/hr pay raise. It was only in 2024 that I got a notiecable raise, but even then, with inflation and cost of living increase, I am struggling financially more than ever. I do very much appreciate my new boss actually caring so much.

I like my manager (Damian Miller) a lot. To be honest he is he only manager I had in my six years at AEVEX who I felt really looked out for me and my well being. Before I felt like I wasnt acknowledged or appreciated enough and went years with little to no merit /cost of living increase.
