21st Century Fox: This is corp to corp and there are no benefits of the traditional sort. I prefer being paid via my own company for tax purposes as I actually have health coverage through the VA, AND another full time W2 job as a devops engineer that pays $175k + full benefits. So, I'm happy. Hope I can keep it up.

State Farm Insurance: Better employment opportunities within the company. State Farm likes to fire people every year from December thru March to avoid having to pay out bonuses. A lot of coworkers were fired because of this reason. this is why they have a huge mass hire every year. It truly is sad for employees there

IBM: Value employees more. PIP and RA’s are very common and the easy way to get rid of employees instead of finding a new place for them.

ManpowerGroup: Much of the work has been pushed to under-prepared offshore teams whose culture we are supposed to assimilate to. Meanwhile, the work doesn’t get done unless the few remaining competent people onshore sacrifice their time to do the work of everyone else.
