I work a unique job and it's challenging. AEVEX management have no idea what happens within my workspace, nor do I believe they care much. I'm blessed every day for the opportunity I have, but it's a challenge. I miss the way it was with Matrix, before we were absorbed by AEVEX. Not so good now.
I completely enjoy the mission.
We work well together and support each other through our horrible schedule and constant exhaustion because of it.
We're all in the same boat, so we understand the challenge we face. They are good people, but overworked and underpaid too.
I don't work directly with people from my company, nor do I work in an AEVEX environment, so it's difficult to answer this question.
The executive leadership team is a list of names of which I don't know any of them nor have I met any of them. They are foreign to me.
Change the schedule and increase salaries. Also, there is no upward mobility within AEVEX, so aside from transitioning to a new company, there is not much to be excited about.
Honestly, I don't even know who the leadership team is or what exactly they do or are doing for the company. I am aware of the CEO but only from his 'Ask me Anything' messages.
I'm a Matrix guy. Matrix has always been supportive, and they try to remain that way, although the atmosphere and feeling of a large corporation like Aevex has, without a doubt, ruined the small feel of a great company.
Those of us who work on my program are across the board, compensated at a lower rate than several other companies in the same space. We are required to work the worst schedule in the history of shiftwork and are most certainly low-balled with our performance evaluations and percentage increases.
The cost of living is not improving and it's hard to keep up. I work a horrible shift work schedule on a program with high turnover and I'm expected to do more with less; always. I'm doing the job of three people, but my pay remains the same. Also, my yearly performance eval is unacceptable.
