Good pay, somewhat meaningful job. I enjoy being very good at what I do and the positive impacts I can have on the team and mission. The quality of analysts has gone down over time. Leadership selections on-site over the past yeat has overall decreased the quality of work and enjoyment of work
Many ups and downs, but over the years I've been able to grow as a person and professional. I've been promoted twice and feel my current PM team trusts my decision making, ability to work and mentor, and overall lead. Pay and time off is great. I'll miss working for AEVEX
OCONUS pay rate is why I'm still here

PM team is caring, communicative, and trusts their appointed on-site leadership.
Arlen is very communicative and on-top of helping team members with admin/scheduling issues quickly
Most team members are invested in the mission, care about eachother, and are good team players
Arlen and Jess are straightforward shooters and put their people first, which I appreciate greatly. Way better than Chas.
pay is good. I don't use any other parts of the package because I get better benefits cheaper elsewhere

nothing really. I saw in an email that we get PTO now, so I'd like to here more about that and see how that works

Have a higher standard for their quality of work, stop gossiping and complaining about small things like high school kids, and learn to drive stick
Mission accomplishment, seeing the impact we make in the world, good relationships with coworkers and the customer, and being able to teach and mentor analysts daily
Creating top-tier products through high performance work, hearing from the customer how impressed they are with some of our work, and seeing the effects of what we do
Its nice when the people you are on shift with are like-minded about standards and quality of mission work. Sometimes you're lucky enough to work with people that have fun conversations, jokes, and debates to help pass the time
Get rid of the petty, passive aggressive behavior and stop sabotaging our entire team with completely unfounded HR complaints. Be better at basic analyst work, especially those that are in the senior and SASM positions. Lead from the front.
retaining people; putting their people first and realizing deployers are the ones that make the contract money; listening to feedback their forward people give them; selecting only qualified people for promotion; consider paying their people more (AEVEX employees are the lowest paid on contract)
There are certain personalities, both inside the company and at other companies on the same contract, that make daily work life much more stressful and complicated than it has to be. This could be improved if those problem children were formally counseled, and leaders backed their people up
The most positive thing by far is being deployed with solid coworkers. About 50% of the team I work on are skilled intelligence professionals, great friends, and an absolute pleasure to be around. Without at least a few of those select people on site, I probably would not stay with AEVEX.
When the right people are deployed/on shift together, work is a positive and fun place to be. A boring job becomes hours of great convo and non stop jokes, with work still always being the priority. Back home, the care and honesty the CURRENT PM team carries themselves with is a huge plus
AEVEX needs to work on retaining qualified people and cutting those that perform poorly and make the rest of the team work harder. I get along great with other hardworking, skilled coworkers, but tend to butt heads with ones that lack humility and the level of skill they should possess on this role
One of the hardest workers in the AO with a wealth of multi-INT knowledge but get looked over. Yearly raises for inflation like every other company we work for instead of waiting 4 years to get a .92/hr raise; more of a raise then just a few dollars when selected for more senior positions.
There are people on site that are bad at their job, which makes the whole team, the contract, and the company suffer. On top of that, it makes us ALL look bad to the customer. SMX employees are not doing what's needed to make a positive work environment, nor are they very good at the intel piece
The PM team (for the most part) allows us to run our site how we see fit and handle things at the lowest possible level. We are trusted and able to do the job well, take care of each other, and do the right thing. Trust from leadership and great teammates is what makes being away from home easier
