the job I was hired to do has evolved beyond what I was trained to do, the compensation hasn't changed with it.
From my experience, the leadership or folks in positions to affect change, will do so as long as the change is a positive one.
The leadership team knows their strengths and their weaknesses, and they recognize that they can't do everything. Bringing in someone whose strengths are your weaknesses makes our leaders thoughtful.
Being able to support the customers I interact with; being able to make connections with them and show them that I'm a human just like they are, and that together we can solve any problem that we come up against.
The majority of the people on my team care about the company; however many of them are green - as they are young and don't have as much experience in the workplace, sometimes leading to a relaxed attitude where more "formal" or "responsible" attitudes should prevail.
