It has been a great learning experience and I am very grateful for the people I have worked with. However, there are growth limitations and the repetitive reporting nature is also limited in terms of satisfaction. I believe our department is sidelined, and this limits satisfaction and enjoyment.

This refers specifically to our direct Media Insights team at Meltwater - the most positive thing is the fact that most members of the team treat each other with respect and empathy and offer support when it is needed.

Leadership needs to align their investments with their communicated strategic goals and listen to feedback from middle management. For example, Media Insights has been instructed to push consultative approach to media reporting, however we are not given an investment in skills and retention.

More attention needs to be paid to the Services department - our feedback should be listened to regarding salaries, benefits, company direction and more respect and collaborative spirit should be shown from the sales/CS sides. We are often pressured to fit with deadlines set by them.

I would feel better if my salary matched market rates (10 - 15% higher), and was adjusted on a yearly basis for inflation. Additionally, my benefits should at least cover my medical aid in full and also be adjusted for rates increases. This contribution has remained the same since 2021.
