
Stock. Whether it be RSUs, Grants, or discount periods getting that much buy-in to the company makes me really feel like everyone cares about the work they're doing just a little bit more.
Solving new challenges. There's always a new challenge to tackle and so the work doesn't get stale. If one task ever gets monotonous or mundane, there's always something else to work on that is more engaging.
It's always a "we" mindset. There is rarely an "us vs. them" mentality and if the conversation ever devolves into that, someone is quick to turn it around to make sure feedback we're giving/discussing is healthy and constructive.
They're not afraid to be honest. Company meetings have a balanced amount of this is what we're doing really well, and this is where we need to improve. That transparency helps to build trust and that's huge to me.
Flexibility, everyone trusts each other to finish their tasks and lean on the team to leverage everyone's strengths. If someone needs to leave early or take a personal day, it's always encouraged which helps to create a really healthy work life balance.
