I have only been here less than a year, and I like everyone I work with, the work that I do, and the fact that they are not all laid back. There is a consistent drive to do better, create quality work, and skill up, which ensures no one rests on their laurels.
I believe the culture was very positive when it was slightly smaller. The culture in my team is not bad, but definitely not as warm and welcoming as it once was.
Kind, but at the same time driven and professional.
Learning something new if there is a new project
The pay is good, and so are the healthcare benefits.
There is not a done of team camaraderie and genuine warmth
People are polite, and there is no overt negativity allowed or tolerated.
Clear communication, and decision making takes the company in a direction which benefits shareholders
They're funny, they remain real and they do prank one another when in the office.
I have been given a package that I am satisfied with, and it makes working here even better!
Funny, knowledgeable, socially adept and aware of current cultural climate and make room for difficult discussions (sometimes, which is fine)
My salary is definitely a huge plus, I feel valued, and it motivates me to learn more and grow my skills.
I love that I'm learning something new each sprint but in a way that doesn't make it seem scary or too hard.
They are definitely making a concerted, conscious effort to promote diversity and inclusion. This is Texas, so that speaks to their drive and willingness to go against the grain, and create an environment which is welcoming for all.
My manager and their manager go out of their way, really, to make sure our team maintains a work-life balance, that they remain flexible to accommodate our changing requirements with regards to family/ commuting, etc.. just warm, caring people.
I work from home, I don't have a ton of meetins, my work is challenging, we work in sprints, but not uncomfortably so, and. best of all I have a mentor. A teammate who guides you on your journey is priceless.
The benefits, pay, I'm told free lunch but haven't been in office since I got hired, and the boxes we get every so often. My teammates are kind, supportive and the work they give takes into consideration my knowledge level and provides adequate support.
