For office folks who sit at computers for 8-10 hours a day, remote work can help with everyday life. Would also help in maintaining a healthy work/home life.
Id first hire people for what experience they have for the job they are applying for. Meaning, I would hire the folks who are qualified for the job and not because someone in their family works here, or they are my favorite server at the restaurant where I like to eat.
With moral being at a all time low, I believe it starts up top and works its way down. It is managements job to make sure employees are efficient at their jobs, and this goes back to hiring employees on their merit and experience and not just because their daddy or mommy used to work at Bell.
