How we commiserate when the ELT or Director of Innovation make "impactful decisions."
Recognizing the importance of continuing meaningful development work. I wonder if the ELT is going to get comfortable with making derivatives of v280 to milk it for everything its worth instead of investing in future technology and/or capabilities
You're killing R&D and de-scoping the rest of the company to support V280. We clearly have a staffing retention problem and you're trying to fix it by hiring more people. You are just treating the symptom and not the problem.
I've been to three programs in 2 years. How is anyone supposed to show that they are a high-performer if they keep starting from the bottom? It takes 6 months to fully understand a program before making a meaningful impact. It also doesn't help that the Director of R&D has no R&D experience.
