The best part of my compensation package is my salary.
Fortunate to be working with a few creative, innovative, and out-of-the-box thinkers. No ideas are beyond at least discussion.
Get back to the fundamentals of warfighter focus, quality products, and filling positions with the right people for the job rather than trying to compile metrics that appease the current woke cause du jour.
Some of the co-workers need to be more open to sharing information about the areas of their expertise and encourage others to get involved. Instead, there is information hoarding in an attempt to retain control and enhance job security.
Current office conditions for our group are worse than a supply shack at a Texas state park. One of the remaining areas to be renovated. Having been told a move is imminent 18 months ago, it now appears we are a forgotten group.
Too many folks seem happy to continue to operate as they have done for the last 10-15 years rather than exploring new and more efficient methods / processes / technologies to streamline a business function without sacrificing quality - contracts and supplier contracts management teams take note.
In my area and those up the chain, I would like to see more emphasis on customer satisfaction rather than accounting metrics. Bell should more freely spend the MR that is withheld to fix Bell mistakes and performance issues rather than going back to the customer for more funding.
I do not like my current role. I am engineer that has been drafted to perform as an IPT. I have little to no training for that role and little to no support. Yet, I am expected to perform the relevant "accounting" duties and answer the hard questions. Not happy.
