Positive and negative at the same time. Working for a joint venture is taxing in many ways. Something positive is that I don't feel micromanaged; as long as the job gets done and customers are happy, all is good.
People are usually nice and friendly
They maintain open and clear communication and are usually understanding.
They are goal-oriented but friendly and understanding at the same time.
salaries, work-life balance, respect for personal space and time, career management
When my co-workers, my managers or my customers notice and appreciate my hard work.
In my small team, we get along great and support each other. Our higher-ups support us when needed and are understanding as well. I like that we are utilizing Teams because it's much faster to communicate and is less formal between us now.
For what I do, my salary is lower than sector average. I keep having to do things that are not really my job, I keep finding myself covering for others so that the job gets done. There is not a prospect of a carreer progress.
By coworkers, if you mean others that do the same job as me, I think they are good but a bit too formal, almost machiney. If you mean the people I have to collaborate, I often find them either to act slow or to be clueless.
The wages are extremely low and we are overworking. The work-life scale is unbalanced. There is no prospect of an actual career. It would be great if we had actual additional benefits along with fair pay. I would be great to be able to actually log off.
ISGs are good, they are usually go-getters but most people in the showteams are extremely incompetent. It takes asking multiple times in different ways to get the answer I need. It also takes forever for them to answer emails. Issues barely get resolved because they rarely offer actual solutions.
Showteams need to have more people and qualified people. IT related issues get extremely long to be resolved, we need a faster and again, more qualified IT team. Some features of GBS are only time-consuming without any benefit so GBS needs to be a bit more user-friendly and faster.
I constantly have to do stuff that are not within my job description and when I ask why , the answer is "who else?". I do more than one person's job but I am not even paid enough for one person. My manager does not attemt to provide career guidance either but constantly tells me I'm great at my job.
