We work hard but there are a core few that reflect the values of what the business needs and when the pressure is there, they all know what needs to be done to be solution focused and rise above the challenges to drive outcomes. This is what I value most and what keeps me here.
On a local level - the transparency, support and approachability.
The flexibility and environment of trust. Plus the people - we have good people.
We care about each other and have a relaxed personal connection which creates a better workplace culture when the pressure strikes!
Feeling productive and achieving things as an individual contributor. Having a flexible work life balance so I feel assured for how to manage my time and output.
The bonus - if it werent for this and my consistent performance in ensuring I receive it, my salary would still be incredibly low compared to external opportunities.
The people I work with and the empowerment I have to manage my own role fairly independently. If either of these things changed, so would my thoughts on my experience here.
It's fairly relaxed - the core employees with a longer tenure are all bonded nicely, with shared respect, support and memories from our time together. There is a trusted environment when we come together to feel safe to contribute and share.
I dont feel undervalued, I feel the opposite and my personal compensation I am happy with but overall, we pay incredibly low compared to other companies for my profession level - and we are a global business so that can be disheartening.
At our local BU level the leadership team are all approachable, honest and transparent plus experienced within the business each having a long tenure. The consistency and stability of the leadership goes a long way to creating a culture of trust and a safe workplace.
