I really like the T-shirts the staff wear & wish they were available to the public to buy. It's a really busy place at times! You have to wait for a table but that's ok.
Hoshizaki America: I can only speak to the maintenance dept, but its the best work experience ive had..

Wingstop Restaurants Inc.: The manager needs to get better at leading and communication. I am not motivated or encouraged in the workplace, I never know how I am doing at the job. There's no guidance there is only "just get it done" how can I get everything done with all the pressure my manager demands from me?
AMC Theaters: They're kind and very cool to talk to.
Empire Today: The interview felt very honest, straightforward and fun.
Powells: Just talking, getting to know each other. What books we like. Telling jokes. A safe space to vent or ask for help. In general, people are really nice

Simplus: Simplus can still improve its way of compensating its employees more in the Philippines sector of the business. I have seen high performers leaving because of poor compensation and this is sad to know. A loyal employee is more rewarding rather than hiring and hiring again.

Benihana: They need to learn how to delegate things. Too many people get to stand around and do nothing. While the good workers run around and get tired very fast.
Huddle House: Organization and communication. There is a lack of respect in are work environment that needs to change. It starts at the top and trickles down. The only good executive we have in the company is are VP of operations. Everyone else is a joke. Also there never seems to be any accountability.

Ercot: Get off their stuffed chairs and begin doing their job! The Texas power grid meeds immediate work and needs to be able to handle more power than it can now because of the population growth in Texas over the past decade. However, ERCOT seems to just sit around and collect their salaries.

Risepoint: Working remotely and being granted the freedom to approach my tasks as I see fit has drastically improved how I view the company as an employer over the years. But the issues are there doesn't seem to be much room for growth, the pay is stagnant and the work itself can be uninspiring.

Aura: Wonderful colleagues, amazing product that I believe in and use. The leadership team has laid out and effectively communicated our strategic goals and the tasks needed to achieve them.

PharmaCord: I have been with Pharmacord for 3 years and have loved the majority of my time here. The people are great and the opportunity is unmatched.
Coldwater Creek: I patiently waited for 3 months for my order, with the due date being pushed out a week at a time, and then this week my order was completely cancelled. Meantime, my quantity of Junk emails has increased from 12 or so to over 200 a day. This has been an absolutely horrible service experience.

Lutronic: This company sold me devices and did not have trainers available to train me, then after 3 months of excuses refused to train me because I would not move into my business space till I was trained on them.
Simplus: Company is concerned about well-being and concerns of employees. Great environment.
Discord: there customer service, people accounts get hacked all the time and then user just lose there accounts with pretty much no way to get them back.
Powells: Communication and fixing problems in the moment
Care.com: There should be a review process that allows the caregiver initiate a review process when the hiring family falsely advertises the hours they need, then cuts them drastically during the interview and leaves a negative review of the caregiver.
Powells: Maybe increasing accessibility and outreach to potential applicants
Varsity Tutors: Its customer service and employe support
Powells: Pay the workers better, and give them better insurance
Powells: Honesty, communication, compassion, some empathy or sympathy sprinkled in would be real nice

SPAR Group: Understanding that the employee has bills and the expense of driving not only in gas but on the car and its occupants its worth a lot more than what they are paying so expect to get the quality of work you can afford at these cut rates.

Powells: They did the interview over zoom, that was nice

Powells: My coworkers are a blast to work with, many employees are creatives, writers, artists, musicians and their backgrounds bring a lot to the table when handselling books our curating store displays.
Wolfspeed: Pay is good but after that the job itslef is highly frustrating. There is barely any formal training. Processes hardly exist.
Simplus: Resource management, inter-team communications need improvement. Team building activities are excellent. Good employee care
Priceline.com: Inform and remind people by email etc a few days before the start of their car rental, hotel stay or flight of their reservation. so people don't forget.
Powells: Pay ranges are literally just made up. You will get the lowest amount. Communication from upper management indicates that they dont think we deserve more money with no reaaon why. Communication is uncompassionate. I have been told no asking for money plenty of times, not like that
Simplus: I've been here 8+ years and have seen it grow from a tiny shop to a large respected org. Happy and looking forward to continuing the momentum.
Powells: My team is consciencious, and extremely productive-super knowledgeable (sometimes more than management)
Powells: The first days are magical, but the magic quickly fades when you realize that the higher ups are greedy, out-of-touch socialites who view this iconic and special place as their trophy. Low wages, high expectations, embarassing benefits, and a dark shadow of its former glory.
Powells: my job is listed on indeed for ~$20-29/ hour. i make $15.86. i am still on OHP because the company's healthcare is so pitiful. but they've made sure to pay me juuust enough that i can't get onto EBT! i have to choose between buying [minimal] groceries and not getting parking tickets most weeks.
Simplus: The commitment to (and actual practice of) transparency has been stellar
Powells: Managers at the store & warehouse level are wonderful. When it comes to the CEO & their team, it’s clear they don’t respect or care for anyone in the store/warehouse- regardless of union status. We deserve living wages. Employee turnaround is at an all time high. We are stretched thin & stressed
Powells: my coworkers are knowledgeable, supportive, kind, resourceful and empathetic. they make coming to work worthwhile.
ConnectWise: The products are old and their support has become absolute trash since they were bought by VC.
Powells: My fellow workers are what makes Powell's the fun bookstore to visit, with their knowledge and enthusiasm for books, and welcoming atmosphere. The management is disconnected from the workforce and could do so much more with regard to worker support and communication.
Powells: Its a great company if you want to be part of the "family" and great co workers and physical environment. If you want good salary and benefits, turn around right now.
Powells: Great supportive coworkers and some managers, stymied by elitism, favoritism and failure to grow with the modern times.

Simplus: I'm very happy to be working at Simplus! It would be nice if the company would reiumburse/pay for my mobile phone, since it's expected that I use my mobile for work. Aside from that, very happy with leadership, my position and company culture.
Simplus: It was initially very promising, with programmes that seemingly provide support and progression objectively and seamlessly. It went downward afterwards with no mention where those programmes went.
Simplus: It's mostly ok - sometimes it's frustration with staffing and swapping resources from project to project.

Blinds to Go: Customer service is horrible! Once the salesperson sold me the blinds and the order was paid in full, I had to setup the appointment for the installer to come to my home. A part was missing and I had to follow-up to see when it would be arriving. I will never purchase anything else from BTG.
