recruiting seemed to have made more promises than they actually deliver. but beyond that i was able to embrace it. it's been tough navigating around, but i have seen worst. on a scale of 1 (low) - 10 (high), the experience is a 6. we could do better. but we are not the worst.

Remote capability remains my favorite and the biggest reason for joining the organization. I also appreciate the fact that some benefits are 100 percent covered such as disability.

living pay check to pay can make working pointless. but besides pay, receiving company budget to fix your office, get better equipment, more comfortable chair, standup desks, would make being in the "office" more enjoyable/comfortable. eliminating internal meetings on Fridays would be nice.

Communicating expectations of duties and responsibilities of individuals. clear path on how to succeed, grow in the organization. better training, like LinkedIn learning. keep up with cost of living. clear path on how to qualify for pay raises. transparency and honesty on health of organization.

better collaboration tools. Maybe access to Jira, Ms. Planner, or a good collaborative tool. We all depend on someone else . easier meeting scheduling tool, timezones are an issue. more "employee virtual get togethers" that are not work related. easier way to tell what is the role & duty of a person

no affirmation that work is done correctly. no real way of measuring success. Networking with others, we discuss salaries and current jobs in industry, they all offer a higher pay rate and better benefits. cost of living increase & more work life balance are a must. 4 work day week would be nice.
