It's been a mix of positive and negative. I have grown in my career, and have been compensated well for my work. I have also experienced extremely long hours, late nights/weekends, high stress, high turnover, etc.

I have been given a lot of great opportunities to grow and advance. Despite the long hours and resource challenges, there was a time when I loved my job. However, the political divisiveness that has been brought to the company through the Diversity and Inclusion Committee is driving me out the door.

There are a lot of really good people who care about each other, and who care about delivering quality work.

Benefits like monthly reimbursement for cell phone, health & wellness, etc. The company also provides lunch and a fully stocked kitchen.

They seem to care about the company and the culture a lot. They advocate for perks/benefits as much as they are able to.

The people (for the most part) like and respect each other. And they are willing to jump in to pull off miracles for our clients.

Listening to employees concerns about WFH flexibility. Providing adequate resources to create better work/life balance for employees, and to ensure employees can actually utilize PTO.

The company provides significant growth opportunities for new employees. Junior employees are able to rise as quickly as they want based on the effort they put in.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Keeping politics out of office culture. Especially when it comes to divisive issues. Communicating truthfully about the financial status of of the business. Appropriate resource plans. Turning away work when we are understaffed rather than piling on to staff who are already overworked.
