Listen to the employees (not VPs or managers, but actual people doing the work) that are experts in their field. The employees want to see things succeed, but forcing the employees to go against best practices is not good.
Management & 'leadership' team making poor choices (like pushing things to prod before testing, not having a disaster recovery plan, pushing to OCI when its not stable and insecure) that make it impossible to supply a secure stable product for customers.
