I feel that I work at a contracting company where I am well taken care of. Ive felt that way since I first started the hiring and interview process. The benefits are excellent and clear cut. The job and duties of said job are also well defined. Im very satisfied.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
This was my first job since transitioning out of the USAF. The work environment has been fantastic as the company provides clear and straightforward goals and expectations. The HR team has made the paperwork side of things a no-hassle event, a huge improvement from the military.

Minimum to no diversity equity and inclusion brainwash training.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Down to earth and fights for a competitive benefits package

120 hours of PTO in addition to top of the industry hourly pay
What is the best part about your compensation package?
As a single man, the healthcare package is excellent. Especially coming directly from the military where I was under Tricare.
What makes you most happy at work?
I feel that my knowledge and skillset are highly valued here, and I never feel that I need to take part in "busy work" to make my manager feel better about me being on the clock.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that AEVEX doesnt cultivate one of these fake "family/team" narratives like Walmart. Working at this company doesnt define my personality. Its the company that i work for, and I enjoy my time here, but it doesnt NEED to be more than that.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I dont understand this question. There are many positive qualities about the culuture and company. The work environment itself isnt toxic. I feel like I can be myself and still maintain professional relationships at work. The company definitely puts its employees first, the benefits and pay reflect.
