I was on boarded and fell right in. I love the group we have from the top down. The mission is worth every bit of my time. I love the culture.
I do not interact with anybody from corporate. At our work site we hardly ever see management. Our local site lead takes care of us however, the only time we see AEVEX leadership is at the Christmas party. Even then I don't even know who they are because I have never met them face to face.
The company had treated me fairly well over the years. I do see changes coming in order to save money which results in my paycheck being smaller. I understand the business side of things. The adjustment will take time but, I guess that's why you edit your budget.
Amount of PTO we receive and the healthcare coverage is good.
Aevex offers multiple levels of medical insurance to fit your families needs.
We are pretty tight knit and we all get along when together at work.
Missions where we make a decisive impact and overall perform well for our customer.
When the hours and hours of what we consider boredom results in the actionable intelligence.
Overtime after 40 hours is awesome. I think the variety of options in regard to health insurance is a great benefit.
I have known them a long time pilot wise and they are all great people. The management I have never met.
We work very well as a team. We have a broad variety of experience that rounds out our specific mission needs.
Mission execution and success. Making a difference for the warfighter. I love playing an active role in the train up of future pilots.
We all endure the suck together. When slow times come along we find ways to push through and make the work environment fun and light.
Our team seems to have a lot of experience and they work well together. Some could put a little more effort into their daily execution of duties.
I appreciate the upward movement and growth in multiple sectors of defense. The expanding efforts show we have a team leaning forward to be an industry leader.
I appreciate the little notes they send on my work anniversary and the notes they send for my birthday. I also appreciate the open forum the CEO opens up for questions from the employees.
Still pretty new. Not sure the culture transfers from HQ to the outstations performing the work on contracts. This is always the disconnect with DOD contracting. We locally form our own. It is good.
I have only met my field supervisor. I have not met any of the others. I get paid on time so that is good. Other than that I have zero interaction with my leadership team.
I am new so the sample size is small. He leaves me alone for the most part and reaches out when important things need to be addressed. I like big boy rules and no micro managing.
I like that the CEO is open to input from his employees and replies all so we can all hear what he has to say. I appreciate the happy birthday notes I get from the executives. Little things matter.
I think they do a really good job at taking care of the individual. It is a big company however I know they look out for me the best they can and are making the best decisions for us at the top.
Unknown future of contract, no transparency or updates from prime or our own company. Makes it hard to feel secure when you don't know much of what is happening. It seems like a big secret and we just have to trust that people are doing the right thing.
I was promised a pay raise after completing IO upgrade. I was then informed because the prime contractor did not release the funds I am not going to get the raise. If that was the case that should have been made clear during negotiations. Now it just seems you are transferring blame to the prime CTR
