Overall a negative environment. 3 waves of layoffs this year, team is not happy to be at work. Roles/responsibilities are a constant issue with our team. I'm still not happy about my title/salary and the lack of explanation towards it.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
None of my coworkers want to work here either and complain about pay, responsibilities, and overall team energy, effort, etc. It's a depressing environment overall.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I interviewed for a higher title and salary. When I received the job offer, the title was lower and salary cut by $20-30K with no communication beforehand whatsoever. It's still not clear to me why this happened, but I didn't have another choice at time of job acceptance.
