Its a big talk but not one that the managers walk. I truely believe the employees want whats best however the managers have so much on their plate they are unable to actively manage their people. They also seem to be the best person at the time not the best person for the role.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
It has been very enlightening. I have learned a great deal and every day I have the opportunity to learn something new. I have had a lot of fun working with a variety of groups and continue to find ways to make our meeting more engaging and fun.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Accepting and supportive of new and differing solutions
What makes you most happy at work?
A sense of accomplishment when a large project completed.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They speak a good game. They always talk about an amazing culture and allow us coworkers to bond and get to know each other.
What makes you most happy at work?
Given a challenge just out of my reach but something that is achievable. Learning new things and being given the opportunity to grow my career.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I like that we get an extra week of vacation. Just wish we had the actual time away from projects to take it all and not come back to so much stress.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone really wants it to be the best place to work. my coworkers really want to participate in team bonding etc. There's just not a lot of time for that anymore
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are like a little family and when you move to a different team you have a new little family. We all have the same issues with management so we understand each others stressers.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Outside of my department they are all very willing to work with me, answer my questions and collaborate to come to the quickest most appropriate solutions to our problems. My team is more siloed do I don't know many of them very well.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Truly caring for us as individuals. My manager takes the time to know and understand my personal situation and works with me to level set on work/home life balances. My leadership team is working to continue to support us above and beyond must my direct manager
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Less stress and work. There are many of us who have had to take up unrealistic deadlines and or reporting due to loss of employees who left due to poor management and again unrealistic expectations. We are not appreciated for our normal jobs let alone everything extra that we do.
