I love the environment, the people, the attitudes, and everything about Choice, but I do feel stuck in what I'm doing, and I also feel that while we have big events around bringing out great ideas for the company, that product owners/management are not empowered to make any of those changes happen.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Dynamic, willing to take risks, and for the most part communicate and maintain a good vision for the group here.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Open, caring, empathetic, hard working, willing to "git 'er done" when needed, but not up tight nor adding to a pressured work environment.
What makes you most happy at work?
The interactions with people here that I work with and the ability to do things outside my own department or area to contribute to the business.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There's a feeling like you can contribute more (though the track record for listening to and using new ideas needs improvement), and everyone is very encouraging and helpful here.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
For one thing, I've been pushed into a position I didn't sign up for and while the money is the same, the responsibilities and my ability to make great contributions to the business has been hampered. I can perform at a high level and I believe at least a bonus system would compensate extra efforts!
